Speaker

  • Stephen Downes, National Research Council Institute for Information Technology

In this Net Talk, Stephen Downes will explore the idea of decentralized learning. The model, pioneered in such events as the Connectivism and Connective Knowledge course, revolves around the idea that there is no core content which must be learned, but rather a body of loosely related materials that different people explore in different ways in order to satisfy their own personal learning needs.

Mr. Downes works for the National Research Council Institute for Information Technology, in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. He specializes in online learning, content syndication, and new media.

Les activités d'animation et de perfectionnement sont diffusées sur le site de Éductive.
